Some background on me - I've always been an avid thriller reader with a fondness for baddies. In fact, my favourite childhood toy was a highly dubious looking hand puppet named Fobber the Robber. A year and a half ago, I had the crazy idea that I should write a novel in my favourite genre. Living in Johannesburg, South Africa, one of the most dangerous, crime-ridden cities in the world, provided a fertile field of inspiration. The result is Random Violence - available through South African booksellers and on www.kalahari.net.
